DosLab Seminar

The DosLab research group held a scientific seminar on October 17, 2026, focusing on ionising radiation dosimetry in radiotherapy. The meeting brought together specialists from various institutions, creating an excellent platform to foster newly established collaboration, exchange experience, and discuss the latest research directions.

The invited speakers included:

• Mariusz Dudek, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. TUL (Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Lodz University of Technology),

• Malwina Jaszczak-Kuligowska, PhD, Eng., Elżbieta Sąsiadek-Andrzejczak, PhD, Eng., Michał Piotrowski, PhD, Eng. (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Informatics and Chemistry of Polymer Materials, Faculty of Textiles and Design, Lodz University of Technology),

• Piotr Maras, PhD, Eng. (M. Copernicus Hospital in Łódź),

• Oskar Madetko, MSc, and Bartłomiej Jasiak, MSc (Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Applied Sciences in Tarnów).

The scientific programme was overseen by Prof. Marek Kozicki from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Informatics and Chemistry of Polymer Materials, Faculty of Textiles and Design, Lodz University of Technology (Head of the DosLab research group), who chaired the seminar.

The agenda featured engaging multimedia presentations and discussions on joint research initiatives. The exchange of ideas and perspectives resulted in defining new research topics, which will pave the way for future joint scientific publications and new projects.
